ALO YOGA AND GURMUKH HOST PHILANTHROPIC KUNDALINI EVENT | Raising Funds For Food, Education And Developed Facilities For Tibetan Orphanage
WHO + WHAT: Los Angeles-based premium activewear label Alo Yoga, today announced that it will host a yoga event with world-renowned Kundalini teacher, Gurmukh where 100% of ticket donations will benefit the Tibetan Manjushree Orphanage in Tawang, India.

WHY: Alo Yoga is hosting this event to support its overall mission to bring mindful movement and yoga to the world. This event will benefit the Manjushree Orphanage, which was established in 1998 to provide 30 Tibetan children a safe home, family, modern education and sound moral values.
Today, Manjushree Orphanage has grown to serve more than 300 children and staff and is in dire need of expanding its space, especially its kitchen that was originally built to serve 30. Additionally, it only receives about 41 cents per day per child for everything – food, shelter, school, love and guidance. This event and cause coextends with Alo Yoga’s 501(c) (3) foundation Alo Gives, which was started in partnership with Scholastic, to further its mission to bring yoga to children on a global level by providing free, 5-minute videos on AloGives.com that offer the benefits of yoga and meditation to tomorrow’s leaders.
